• 1917: Creation with the first name: All Star.
• 1922: Charles Hollis Taylor (Chuck Taylor) joins Converse as a sales representative. An emblematic US basketball player at the time, he allowed the brand to make a name for itself in this sport and to become a must on NBA courts. His name was then added to the name of the model in 1934, which gave it its current name, the Chuck Taylor All Star.
• 1934: Its name changes to Chuck Taylor All Star, in thanks to Charles Hollis Taylor for the commercial development of the brand in the United States. He helped develop and improve the technical aspects of the shoe to make it more and more suitable for basketball.
