MANAGEMENT

The place of production, the materials used, the origin and the final products are all carefully considered in order to offer solutions that are increasingly environmentally friendly.

Our goal: a more circular economy with less plastic and waste.

1. WOOD CONCEPT

Our latest concept, 'Wood', is deployed in nearly 140 stores. Made in France, it is also 90% recyclable. In 2022, we are aiming for 100% recyclability, but above all to upcycle or recycle the furniture from 'old' stores. Finally, we ensure that the furniture pollutes the air as little as possible. It is therefore classified A with regard to VOC (volatile organic compounds) emission.

2. OUR ECO-DESIGNED BAGS

Courir is redesigning its bags to offer more environmentally-friendly solutions. Eco-designed bags are an important way in which we can combat the proliferation of plastic waste in our ecosystems. In 2020, we therefore made a firm commitment to develop packaging solutions made of 100% FSC paper.

3. OUR ECO-FRIENDLY UNIFORMS

Our salespeople are the front-line representatives of our eco-friendly commitments. Their uniforms are therefore made of 50% organic cotton and 50% recycled polyester.

THE COMMITMENT TO THE SEACLEANERS' MANTA PROJECT

Courir is committed to the association's major project: the construction of a unique environmentally-friendly sailing vessel that is capable of collecting and treating several tons of macro plastic waste per year. The launch of the boat, called Manta, is scheduled for 2024.

Courir is providing direct financial support to the association to help make this great initiative a reality.

Courir will also launch a vast operation to collect donations in stores.
