Nike has been celebrating Air Max Day every 26 March since 2014. On this day, the air bubble running shoe is the star. The anniversary of the Air Max, is inevitably a symbolic day for Nike and fans of mythical sneakers! In honour of this iconic sneaker, Nike releases special editions every year. This year, it's the Vapormax Evo in the spotlight.

The Nike Air Vapormax EVO reveals a new species of Air by putting the Air Max DNA under the microscope and dissecting the composition of seven classics - the Air Max 90, Air Max 93, Air Max 96 II, Air Max Plus, Air Max Tuned 99, Air Max Solas and Air Max 180+III. By combining the key genes from each of these models, the future, rooted in heritage, has emerged. Designed with a vision and direction that will take you, the athlete, into a future dominated by Air.

27 years after its creation, the Air Maxwas born when the highly talented Tinker Hatfield unveiled one of the swoosh brand's most iconic silhouettes to the world: the Air Max 1. Since then, all the models in this great lineage have marked a real revolution in the world of sneakers: Air Max 90, Air Max 95, Air Max 97.
